What a wonderful restaurant! The dining room is beautiful (all Simon Pearce pottery and glass, of course) and has some of the most spectacular views of the Ottauquechee River. The restaurant and retail store are built in a remodeled old hydro-electric mill and the waterfall is simply outstanding to see. Request the glass-enclosed sunroom. Lunch was absolutely fantastic-the menu changes regularly but we recommend the Chicken sandwich with roatsed peppers and freshly shaved parmesean on homemade foccaia bread. Lunch is the way to go here-the dinner menu can be pricey. Call for reservations-a MUST.
The food is excellent, I would recommend the lunch, as it is equally as good, but easier on the wallet. The best part is the glass ware. When travelling down the interstate the quick detour off the exit to eat, is well worth the time.
