This is a great country inn with a touch of sophistication. Beautiful lobby with fireplace and classical music playing as you arrive. Super friendly owners and staff, make this a very enjoyable place to stay. Extremely comfortable, clean and convenient, it felt more like staying with family. The rooms were very large-plenty of space for the whole family-with all of the necessary amenities (refrigerator, tv, hair dryer). Nicely decorated, large hallways and lobby area with cathedral ceiling and fireplace. Each room has a private balcony- in the fall when the colors are just right, you'd have a hard time finding a better view. Continental breakfast served each morning in the beautiful lobby. On-site nature trail for hiking (right along a beautiful river)and snowshoeing leading right to the Appalachian Trail. Great gardens and outdoor pool make it a great choice for the summer as well. Very conveniently located on US Route 4, right at the base of the Access Road. There is a grocery/liquor store accross the street. There is an amazing gift shop attached where anyone could linger for hours!

great views from rooms |
| The view from the balconies on the second floor are second to none. I would recommend the Greenbrier any time of the year but especially during folliage season when the views are at their best. |

Great fun for everyone |
| What an awesome Inn! An ideal place to stay where we were made to feel like family by the warm and friendly owners who are fixtures in the area. As parents we loved the upbeat, kid friendly atmosphere as well as the large rooms which featured all the amenities we wanted (fridge, terrace, blowdryer, etc). Singles will love the close proximity to the mountain and hotspots. And if gifts/antiques are what you're hunting for you'd be hard pressed to find a better and more expansive selection than in the giftshop. (Where else can you find a beautiful antique vase, a pair of robeez infant shoes and hip and funky photo albums under the same roof?) Can't wait to come back in the summer and take advantage of the pooland hiking trails. Overall, a great place to stay. |

Great Skiing, Great Shopping All In One Place |
| It couldn't get any better awesome skiing, terrific shopping, great people, immaculate rooms all in one place. My husband and I have been going to the Greenbrier for many years and always look forward to the trip. In past years we have gone, not only in the winter for the terrific skiing, but also in the summer for the great golf and hiking and in the fall to see the leaves change. If you think the leaves in Central Park are beautiful in the fall, you MUST see Vermont, it is like nothing I have ever seen before. |

Vermont Charm/Country Shopping |
| We knew we were at our kind of inn when we walked in the door and fire was going, a group of people were playing cards and games in the common area and our Host greeted us personally at the door. We had a large clean room by hotel standards (the greenbrier is non-smoking) and made use of the mini fridge and breakfast table in the morning. That night, we turned on the TV, grabbed the ski report for the next day, and then checked at the front desk for a recommendation for dinner and where to ski the next day to find good, fresh snow. He was right on with all his recommendations. Much more than just a place to sleep for the night, the Greenbrier really did have the VT charm we were looking for. There is no doubt we will be back. The only draw back was the great shopping my wife found in their gift shop..... Trust me, if you go there with your wife or girlfriend she is certain to find several things in their shop that she is going to want. Enjoy your stay in Killington, Stay at the Greenbrier. |
