If you are looking for groomed cross country trails mountain meadows is a nice option. This area offers over 55 km of trails and boasts an advanced snowmaking system on 2.5km of its trails. Mountain Meadows offers a wide variety of skiing options; There are some wonderful beginner and intermediate trails close to Kent pond and on the other side of the Pond, there are more advanced trails to enjoy. The 1.5k White Trail, otherwise known as the snowmaking trail always has snow and is groomed. The trails vary in length from 1.5K to 15K with beautiful woods and/or pond views. Although much of the trails seems suited for the beginner or intermediate, the large loop will prove enjoyable and challenging to all abiltiy levels. You will get very nice views of Pico and Killington at different points and the serenity of Kent Pond cannot be beat.
The ski shop is located right at the touring resort featuring all of the most recent cross-country and nordic gear. The staff is very knowledgable and helpful.
