Usually the most crowded of all the Base Lodges, this is where you should go if you are looking for easier terrain or plan to take lessons. The new food court is a huge improvement from the 2003-04 season. You will also find the season pass office, Killington Sports Shop, Ski rental shop, and lets not forget the Long Trail Pub and Gourmet Coffee stand. If you do not have to start your day here on a weekend, I wouldn't; it can get extremely crowded.

Wrong Place to Start  |
| Talk about a zoo. It seems like every clueless person on the mountain starts their day here. Between picking up rentals, and trying to meet back up with their friends, This part of the mountain is a mess for those people that want to ski. I say avoid snowshed at all costs. Start from K1, start early, go hard, and then come here for a long trail from the pub. |
